Set viscosity

The correctly set viscosity of your cooling lubricant is the basis for the accuracy and function of your Misceo 3. You can find the viscosity of your cooling lubricant in the manufacturer’s safety data sheet under section 9 – Physical and chemical properties The viscosity is usually specified as kinematic viscosity at 40°C. The unit of viscosity required by the Misceo 3 is mm²/s at 20°C in accordance with DIN51562. The unit of viscosity required by Misceo 3 is mm²/s at 20°C in accordance with DIN51562. This is converted from 40°C to 20°C by a factor of 2.8. Example: Kinematic viscosity at 40°C = 45 mm²/s 45 mm²/s * 2.8 = 126 mm²/s at 20°C The value 126 must now be transferred to the Misceo. This is how you transfer the desired value to your Misceo: You must be in the main menu for this setting. You can use the arrow buttons to move up and down in the menu. When you have reached the “Viscosity” item, you can set the desired viscosity using the plus and minus buttons.
